What's good CT ? If you've been on the internet for at least 5 years, you should understand just how impossible ownership used to be. Nothing succeeded in solving this problem until NFTs came along. I know when most of you hear NFTs, you probably think of expensive profile pictures. I understand that perfectly. That it's simply because that's how many users were first introduced to them. Truth is, NFTs are way bigger than that. The term stands for Non-Fungible Token. Put simply, it's a digital asset that uniquely expresses ownership of something on the blockchain. Ponder on this for a sec. You can save a picture from the internet, screenshot it, or even download it. But owning it originally is another thing entirely. This is similar to taking a photo of a concert ticket. You have the image, but definitely not the ticket. That's the difference an NFT creates, by providing verifiable ownership. Ownership which goes beyond digital art. NFTs can represent: Gaming assets Event tickets Membership passes Music Certificates And even real-world assets. That's why I think NFTs shouldn't be viewed as just collectibles, as they're a way to prove authenticity and ownership in a digital world. Now you may ask, "does every NFT have value?", probably not. Just like every website isn't valuable simply because it exists. Value comes from utility, community, or the rights attached to it. Once you're acquainted with that idea, NFTs start making considerably more sense. They're not JPEGs They're about digital ownership. Because NFTs are more than collectibles.
