Utexo has raised $7.5M from @tether, @BigBrainVC, and @PortalVentures to bring USDT natively on Bitcoin. After more than a decade, USDT is finally coming home.

Lightning provides the only solution for native yield on Bitcoin. One that doesn’t require you to give up self-custody or move BTC out of the mother chain. BTC yield belongs to Bitcoin’s rails, and soon USDT's will too.

The Bitcoin Yield Paradox is real Institutions want BTC yield, but the usual paths force a painful trade-off. @lightning provides a way out of the Bitcoin Yield Paradox. We spent years looking for the solution on other chains, but it was always right there on Bitcoin. One that’s self-custodial and capital-efficient, powered by organic demand for USDT-BTC liquidity. A solution to the paradox, build together with @utexocom Read up more 👇 globenewswire.com/news-release/2…

Gas fees higher than expected, and transactions that take too long? That's not how money should move. Time to fix both.
Viktor Ihnatiuk@VIhnatiuk

According to @WalletConnect, nearly half of surveyed users have abandoned a payment because the fee exceeded expectations. Cost predictability is still the #1 friction point.

Multi-asset Lightning via BTC routing is not free reuse of existing Lightning liquidity. It turns every non-BTC payment into a two-sided FX path. The user pays two spreads plus Lightning fees, while swap providers expose their users to HTLC free-option and griefing risk.
Jesse Shrader 🌋⚡@Jestopher_BTC

We've learned that RGB requires a separate network of nodes and routers for each asset introduced. As a consequence, RGB won't benefit from the existing lightning network structure established over the past 8 years. ❌ Capital efficiency

Cashu, Liquid, Spark, Arkade, Taproot-channels, are all part of the very same Lightning Network: the common swapping/invoicing language across different Bitcoin security models. But they all come with their different and not-interoperable asset standards. At @tuscanysummit, @FedericoTenga explaining why RGB is a great candidate as a cross-layer "meta asset standard"!

Lightning Network's utilization has been stuck for 4 years. With USDT support, demand for private txs, agentic micropayments and native USDT/BTC swaps will drastically improve that figure. Soon, LN will emerge as the most efficient money network.

@nonibond It's mostly about having a well-configured node (uptime, liquidity) @River had a 99,7% success rate on 308k txs Humans don't usually send $0.01 payments, but for payments under 1M sats (~700$) there's no sign of success rate decay

Average fee for a $0.01 tx: Solana: ~$0.00025 (2.5%) Polygon: ~$0.001 (10%) Base: ~$0.003 (30%) Lightning: ~$0.0001 (0.1%) Lightning is the only network built for micropayments from day one.

Why do some Lightning nodes earn 1%, while others earn -10%? It's a matter of topology, fee management, rebalancing and uptime Lightning is going through the same trajectory as mining in 2013 Either you go pro or you leave money on the table

Agents shouldn't have to choose between BTC and stablecoins. They can just have the best of both worlds: native stablecoins secured by Bitcoin via @utexocom. A unified rail for moving BTC and USDT privately at machine speed.

The "State of Tokenization" by @PanteraCapital uncovered an uncomfortable truth: most tokenized assets are just wrappers. 16 out of 593. A mere 2.7%. From local stablecoins to RWAs, RGB fixes this by issuing them as native assets on Bitcoin.

We conducted a detailed analysis while putting this material together, so I recommend taking a look at it. Stripe has made it clear: agentic commerce requires systems capable of 1+ B TPS. No blockchain can physically handle that. Therefore, the solution isn’t “faster L1 or L2,” but the right architecture: Lightning for execution + RGB for $USDT + @utexocom as the coordination layer. Micropayments, true privacy, and fixed fees - that’s exactly what autonomous agents need.

storing 16 card digits is the easy part. dealing with declines, FX fees, issuer blocks, chargebacks, and T+2 settlement - that's where agents break. $USDT on Lightning + RGB + @utexocom settles in minutes, crosses borders natively, and has no issuer to block the transaction at 2am. cards are optimized for consumers. stablecoins are optimized for agents.
Dimitri Dadiomov@dadiomov

I don't understand the premise that "agents must use stablecoins." Why can't an agent remember the 16 digits of a credit card? Sorry maybe I'm a payments n00b. Stablecoins have a lot of great use cases, but ecommerce shopping is pretty well optimized already for cards.
