@ScotRGH @ahbard In Victoria, Aus we’ve moved away from terms like ‘problem gambling’ and ‘responsible gambling’ as they don’t put any responsibility on the product designers, orgs or govt to be responsible for reducing gambling harm.

Safety tips for individuals can be helpful, however, the responsibility of reducing gambling harms should not be put on the individual as this does not acknowledge the power imbalance that exists between the industry and those experiencing harm. #SaferGamblingWeek

Crown casino having their licence renewed despite malpractice. Endless gambling ads. All of this creates a high harm gambling culture.
