We kno what his role is and can be, hes never gonna light the ball on fire, thats not his game and its ok.
Freeland being the higher upside guy to me according to some of these people is just laughable to me.

Seeing the timeline crash out over the Kim/Freeland move has been wild
1) Kim now gets to play every day in OKC (which is a good thing)
2) Freeland gets a chance to prove he's legit (the upside is higher with him)
3) Most importantly... the Dodgers know what they're doing

I am not a Hyeseong Kim hater
But people saying Freeland’s 43 at-bat sample size this spring should’ve given Kim the job should have to explain Kim’s final 80 at-bats of ‘25, in which he posted a .175 AVG, .420 OPS, 2 BB% & 41 K%. He has adjustments to make in AAA & that’s okay!

@young_stud_ @BlakeHHarris it’s not mishandling kim wasn’t good last year either and was unplayable especially at the end of the year too, his spring stats look good but not as good when you add his 1-12 WBC performance into it guy could barely crack being Koreas 9hitter why are we acting like he’s elite

The chief complaint of Dodger fans for all of 2025 was the team keeping Michael Conforto on due to intangible “underlying metrics” that “predicted a breakout” which never came to fruition. Now some of the same people are trying to argue that Freeland deserves Kim’s spot due to these “underlying metrics” which stand totally in contrast to the reality on the field. If you ever complained about Michael Conforto, you cannot support having Hyeseong Kim sent down 🤷♂️
