@Eruben_VT Haven't used "mainly HDD" since 2013-14, currently on a bunch of Samsungs + WD Black + some other. Still have terabytes of HDDs for backups.

Yes, you also have to stop uploading own "private" shots to the cloud or social networks even as private and hidden albums. I'd even suggest to stop making these shots (unless for a good reason).

Google, Apple, and almost every other online storage scan your private files. They do it way more in age of AI and since AI is random, it will flag your files.
Do not upload anything even remotely odd to any cloud, any social network, any online storage. Just DON'T!

A Japanese manga artist lost his entire Google account forever after he uploaded private files from an old comic he drew to Google Drive. Google’s AI checked the files and flagged them as not allowed. He asked Google to review it again, but they rejected his appeal and banned the account immediately. He can no longer access years of his private drawings and lost access to many websites and services that used his Google login. The artist said this is very embarrassing and causes him a lot of trouble. He warned that it might not happen to people who always follow every rule, but others should be careful. So Google is scanning files that people upload to its cloud storage even if they are supposed to be private. I wonder how long they have been doing this.

@__alula I never cheated in online games but I'd prefer cheaters over measures like this. If any company tries to affect their user's PC in that way, they can go fuck themselves.

One thing that makes me wonder when it comes to anticheat cat and mouse game on PCs is, at what point they will effectively exclude most PC gamers from playing their games unless you have the latest and greatest hardware configuration with full chain of trust, or just reinvent a locked down game console.
