BreakTheBoard.com started as a passion project, but more importantly, it started as a tool I wanted for myself.
Evaluation is inherently incomplete. It depends on context, role, development, and assumption. Yet much of draft discourse treats it as finished and definitive, leaving little room for nuance or uncertainty, the very things that make evaluation honest.
Break The Board was built to reflect how evaluation actually works. It’s democratized. Your vote matters, and consensus reflects the pulse of the community, not a single voice.
This is the first iteration of a fluid product. Rather than waiting until it’s “finished,” I want users to help shape it as beta testers.
