When you engage a corporate identity agency, Chermayeff & Geismar Haviv
to tackle an obvious sports branding assignment, you sacrifice authenticity that resonates with your core audience.

As client, I would have demanded ball element match exact @WilsonTennis optic yellow which is both unique and speaks to energy and a youthful (emerging) fanbase. Had to serve up an example. Thoughts?

@Uninstructed718 @Shakabrodie Hi Ben- Hope you’re well. Yes. Early 1990’s. New Era wanted to expand their cap offerings but the @NBA had few logos that worked well on a baseball cap front… here are some examples.

@SportsDIYguy Many of the designs were rushed and not really flushed out as core important additions to the primary branding. A few exceptions which were 🔥 !!!

We were firing on all brand cylinders in those wonderfully creative ‘90s!
