I’ll never forget when I told my man I had a long day and didn’t feel like talking. I just wanted to be left alone to decompress. He didn’t argue. He just said ok. About an hour later, there was a knock at my door. He drove 40 minutes just to drop off food, my favorite drink, and his hoodie. He said, “I know you didn’t want company. I just wanted you to feel cared for” and then left. And even now he still goes above and beyond to make me feel loved. That’s what love looks like 🥹❤️Does this kind of love still exist? Yes they do
Is it difficult for men to love like this? No he just have to be genuinely interested in only you

incase you weren't raised correctly, i think it’s a mans job to set the tone in a relationship; whether people want to admit it or not, a woman feeds off his energy.. his consistency, his intentions, his presence. she takes what he gives and reflects it. when a man leads with clarity, love, and respect, it creates a space where a woman can feel safe, soft, and secure. vice versa, when he leads with confusion, mixed signals, and inconsistency, it forces her to operate in survival mode. she becomes guarded, unsure, and emotionally exhausted.

She only gets two good weeks in a month.
One week is spent in pain and bleeding.
The week before that in mood swings, tears, and random cravings.
That’s half her life spent dealing with her own body.
And in the other half, she still chooses to love you, care for you, and show up.
So go easy on her.
Be patient. Be kind, especially when she doesn't have the energy to explain what she's feeling.

Men want soft, feminine energy from their women but don’t create the environment for her to turn off her survival mode. If he wants an angel, he must build her heaven. Otherwise, don’t blame the demon she becomes to survive hell.
Her energy, mood and behavior is a reflection of her environment.

Date him like you will one day be 9 months pregnant, exhausted and completely dependent on him. Date him like your parents just passed away and he is your only support system. Date him like the world is ending and he is your main hope for you and your family’s protection and survival. Would you still choose him?

I’m a high school teacher. We have policies. Late work gets points deducted. Turn it in on time or take the hit. That’s how students learn responsibility. Senior year. Final paper worth thirty percent of the grade. Due Friday. Monday came. Still no paper from this one kid. Smart kid. Never missed assignments before.
Called him to my desk after class. “Where’s your paper?” He looked down. “I don’t have it” Waited. He didn’t elaborate. “You know this tanks your grade right? Might not graduate” He nodded. Still wouldn’t look at me. “Do you not care?” His voice cracked. “My dad died Thursday night. Heart attack. Paper was done. On my laptop. But I’ve been at the hospital. At the funeral home. I forgot. I just forgot.”
My chest tightened. “I’m so sorry. Why didn’t you tell me?” “Because it sounds like an excuse. Everyone has excuses.” He finally looked up. Eyes red. “Just fail me. I deserve it.”
Closed my gradebook. “Email me the paper tonight. Full credit. And take this week off. Come back when you’re ready.” He shook his head. “The policy—” “I’m the teacher. I make exceptions when life happens. Your dad died. That’s not an excuse. That’s a tragedy. Go home.”
He graduated. Top ten percent. Spoke at graduation. Mentioned a teacher who showed him that rules and compassion can coexist. I was in the audience. Crying.
Sometimes grace matters more than policy.

Girl to girl at some point, you have to stop letting your depression win. You have to stop sitting in the same room, replaying the same thoughts, waiting for something to change. Nobody’s coming to save you, it’s on you to save yourself. Get up. Take a shower. Go for a walk. Work on that dream you’ve been putting off. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just start! You owe it to yourself to fight for a better version of you, even on the days when you don’t feel like it. Healing doesn’t happen overnight, but every time you get up instead of giving up… that’s progress.
