Today is World Tuberculosis (TB) Day. This year's @WHO theme for TB Day is: “Yes! We Can End TB: Commit, Invest, Deliver.”
Tuberculosis (TB) remains the leading cause of death from an infectious agent. It devastates livelihoods, families, and communities. Co-morbidities include diabetes and depression.
TB is mostly curable; however, treatment is long. Sustained efforts to ensure compliance, identify shorter drug regimens, and improve quality of life can help defeat TB. At @IGIBSocial, we work on providing innovative solutions.
