On political matters, I think more people should stand for philosophies, not personalities. That way, when a politician’s values or policies no longer align with yours, it becomes easier to reassess and realign accordingly. But when your loyalty is tied to a person rather than principles, objectivity disappears. That kind of blind allegiance eventually suffocates independent thought.
