Another NYer, Barry Cozart, died on Rikers Island on Thursday, the 64th death in that doomsday facility since Jan, 2021. Shameless & shameful. Mamdani must not only decry conditions there, but issue a clearly worked out & very specific plan to end the misery & #CloseRikers!

"It is claimed" ?!? It's not just "claimed" when the clip shows undeniable proof. The cop brutalized a defenseless woman & should be fired immediately & prohibited from becoming a cop anywhere else. If history's any guide, however, he'll get at most a slap on the wrist. A failed system at work.

Court monitored 4x in Manhattan this month: 44 of 48 cases 91.7%, involved NYers of color. No changes in undeniable & unapologetic racist NYPD arrest practices since Mamdani took office. He's mayor & this is now his police dept & he's responsible its (mis)conduct. When will he do the right thing & STOP THEM!?!

Have court monitored 3x this month in Manhattan. 33 of 37 cases, 89.2%, involved NYers of color. As of yet Mamdani has done nothing to even alter the NYPD's everyday racist practices. Wonder when, or if, he plans to do the right thing & end discriminatory & harmful police practices in our great city?
