By putting liquidity into stablecoins, RH is concentrating the little liquidity that remained in the PulseChain ecosystem into a single point… likely to release it later. If the liquidity had been in PLS or CORE, those stables would have been invested into CORE, and then CORE would have been used in ProveX. That would have created an even more volatile asset and another bubble. We’ll see in the future why all of this was done. A bird is meant to fly, not to be burned. It is now the mascot of the idea of resilience of the PLS network, and a symbol of LS’s ability to unite a community around their work. Wasting PCOCK at this stage would be a major strategic marketing mistake after all the energy spent during difficult times.

🚨 TODAY'S CPI PRINT MAY BE THE LAST GOOD ONE. Just now, US CPI came in at 2.4% vs. 2.4% expected. This is exactly what came last month, and it's now the lowest level since April 2025. Core CPI came in at 2.5% vs. 2.5% expected, which is the lowest print in 5 years. But here's what's really concerning. Over the past 2 weeks, oil prices have spiked almost $20. Historically, every $10 price increase in oil pushes CPI higher by 0.2%, which means CPI is already up 0.4% over the last 2 weeks. Along with that, the oil supply route is still getting disrupted. 3 oil tankers were attacked over the past 24 hours, and Iran is also putting mines under the Strait of Hormuz. All this will likely put more upward pressure on oil prices and will make the inflation situation worse. The ECB is already expected to do a rate hike, and if the inflation situation gets worse in the US, the Fed might turn fully hawkish, which will be bad for stocks and especially crypto.

AI agents will refuse to transact with a stable coin that has admin keys. Autonomous code cannot KYC, and so fiat convertibility is worthless. AI doesn’t need to be tethered to societal incompetence, and so these agents will converge on what we already know: $pDAI is inevitable.

Hey LP providers. Consider bonding stable directly with PLS, PLSX, HEX. I'm curious what the PLSX and HEX charts look like if they don't have the majority of their liquidity in PLS. The fractured liquidity might cause more slippage, but allow each coin's merit to be more accurately valued? Heck, the liquidity is so low, if there was a good time to experiment, it'd probably be now? Here's a great thread for the thought experiment. Do remember, cryfags get le ban.

The question also arises regarding responsibilities and burdens… I still believe that AI should be the vehicle, not the pilot. Humans will be onboard, or managing a fleet, or even directing an AI that itself coordinates a fleet. For a while at least, humans will still have their place. As for being “replaced,” they will always remain necessary at the end of the chain as validators of production — through the consumption of content.

I think tokens are going to get cheaper and cheaper, but you have hope for the humans in that human + AI might be cheaper and more effective than AI alone for a while. But the real question is, if capitalism works, because you let the most efficient people do the thing, well if AI becomes those people, then like, it should work out well for humans the same way capitalism did.

This is the smartest counter I’ve seen to ai taking over jobs, in the short term. Is the ((aggregate tokens cost to do what an employee does + plus fully encumbered developer and maintenance costs ) / (fully encumbered employee cost ) )<= productivity ? If it takes 8 Claude agents, at $300 for tokens, per day, plus $200 per day in dev/maint , to do what an employee does per day, at a fully encumbered cost of $1200. That’s 2600/1200. But then you need to factor in the productivity rate. Is it more than 2.16 x productive ? Are there qualitative issues like morale, morality, whatever , that can’t be quantified, that need to go into the decision? What is the going forward progression of burdened costs for the tokens ? Curious what people think about this ?
