Having had brief interactions then, I expected failure as they brought in expertise from Tata Motors/Force who brought the "buy" rather than "make' culture. (I spoke to a inexperienced but confident IIT grad and a grizzled but cynical ex Tata veteran. Deadly combination 😅😅) Not privy to the actual reasons for backing out... This time if JSW is to succeed they should build bottom up here. When you start a new car company you better build the core tech here not use European tech consultants as a clutch.
