It’s jarring how many people I know who couldn’t care less about the NBA right now. Was at a brewery last weekend watching the NCAA and it was like pulling teeth trying to get anyone to talk about the league. The NBA has a serious cultural problem with the American sports fan.

Female virginity and male virginity are not even close to the same. Science and more importantly the Bible bear this out. I have no issue with men marrying women who have had sexual intercourse with men before their husbands. I do take issue with acting like virginity is meaningless and not of great value and difficult to maintain.

One of the several insane things about the discourse every time it’s about a woman repenting from promiscuous ways and people giving their opinions is that women will react to negative opinions about her by saying “the saints did x”- immediately comparing themselves to saints.

This attitude is only found on X. Never in my life have I met such men who play the victim and blame everything on feminism. I actually had the opposite experience. Growing up in church, I was often told never to expect a virgin man because “boys will be boys,” and that it’s ten times harder for a man to remain a virgin, so I should be understanding. Also, I saw a divorced man being promoted by a church lady who was looking for christian virgin women. Smh.

I bet 9/10 men who shame women for being promiscuous have watched porn and were/are promiscuous themselves. Rules for thee, but not for me energy

I said 2 years ago the NBA will be irrelevant in America within 15 years. People laughed. But this is how it starts. First ratings decline, then fan interest declines, then local media revenue declines. You don’t lose cultural dominance overnight, you slowly become less relevant until it finally shows up in the business side all at once.
