The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), India's apex regulatory body for land transport, held its 66th Central Motor Vehicle Rules–Technical Standing Committee (CMVR-TSC) meeting on SAFETY & 70th Standing Committee meeting on Emissions (SCOE) today at Kolkata, West Bengal under the chairmanship of Shri Mahmood Ahmed, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Govt. of India. The meetings are witnessing participation from 100+ mobility industry experts, representing Central & State Government Ministries, Automobile OEMs and Suppliers, Test Agencies, NGOs, Academia, etc. coming together to deliberate on Key Regulatory and Emission-related priorities shaping the future of India’s mobility ecosystem.
