How dare you suggest that the male author who wrote my favorite female character might have portrayed them in a stereotyped and/or sexualized way in a specific scene? Before people start scoring virtual Twitter points on this: it goes for Aerith, Tifa and Yuffie and many others.

It's pure fan service, but many will get angry about pointing it out. The worst part is that it could have been well-done fan service if they had taken Tifa's scar into account and talked about it here, and what it means, thus expanding Tifa's character, instead of just sexualizing her for no purpose. Especially because this breaks Tifa's character; Tifa is supposed to be shy and insecure despite how she dresses, someone reserved, not someone who wiggles her breasts in front of you as if it's nothing. This is definitely not the Tifa from the OG who was embarrassed about wearing a skirt while climbing the stairs of the Shinra tower
