@BethMooreLPM I just started writing a fiction book too! It might end up never published but I’ve really enjoyed cultivating some characters and a fake town :) started as a fun gag but I’m having too much fun to stop now haha!! Can’t wait for your output! ❤️

I’m writing again. And so happy to be! 2 projects, one shorter non-fiction work and the other a novel. The fiction work will take longer because I have to do it on the side. I share this with you in order to give you my word about something. Now only the Lord knows if these works will come to fruition and get published. But I want to make you a promise you are welcome to hold me to. Even if the end result is mediocre and the work would have been better if I did, I will never use AI to do any writing I put my name on nor have I ever used or will I use a ghost writer. I want to say that plainly especially as I get older. I respect my readers and Bible study participants. These aren’t groupies and book buyers don’t just represent numbers to me. I have a lot of flaws but God has treated me so mercifully that I want to serve people well. Please don’t hear this in an arrogant tone because nothing is further from my mind. I’m not one bit better than those who have done or will do any of these things. And goodness knows I’ve committed more grievous sins in my lifetime. But this writing part of my life has been such unmerited grace that I’ve tried to treat it with care. Anyway, I wanted to get that off my chest. If I put it out there, it’s mine. Even if you give it a D. :)

Following North Carolina officially sanctioning Girls Flag Football as a varsity high school sport Wednesday, David and Nicole Tepper now have committed an additional $1 million to support programs across the Carolinas. They now have contributed over $2.5 million since 2022 in grant funding directly to schools to support the continued growth and development of the sport in both North and South Carolina.

I’ll try not to swamp y’all today but this is the cabin where I’ve stayed each time I’ve gotten to come & this was my companion on part of my walk down the mountain. I wish you were here in this forest, too. I never see a delight of the Lord that I don’t wish everyone could see.

I’m at the Cove (Billy Graham Training Center) in NC speaking at 2 consecutive living proof live events this weekend. Been numerous times but never get used to it. I couldn’t get a word in edgewise to the Lord from the porch this AM for the birds singing to him. Merlin app picked up 14 different kinds. I’m so happy in the Lord this morning that my lungs feel like they’ll burst.

@JJWatt I loved, loved, loved The Correspondent! And Project Hail Mary was good too. I think The Crash by Frieda McFadden is her best book…if you like mystery/suspense. And The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue took me by surprise at how much I liked it…

I think Acts 2:24 is one of the most astounding verses in all the Bible. “God raised [Jesus] up, ending the pains of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by death.” Not possible. Death did not hold him because it COULD NOT hold him. A whole sermon in 1 verse.

Of course, no “tampering,” no “poaching”…just coincidence LSU fired its coach and hired NC State’s within minutes. The USF coach warned other programs to “stay away from my players.” Then, HE was gone…so, nobody had to stay away from HIM. The double standard is laughable. Let’s stop complaining about player choice when coaches leave at the first chance for a better situation for themselves.
