Andy Burnham wants to spend £18.3 billion on foreign aid. At a time when household budgets are under huge pressure, his priority is increasing foreign aid spending to 0.7% of GDP. Reform will always put British people first. Charity begins at home.

Brilliant news! The Gov has U-turned on plans to scrap call-out pay for Coastguard volunteers. A massive win for safety across #Carmarthenshire—from the Burry Estuary to Pembrey Beach (pictured). Our coastguards work hand-in-hand with brilliant teams like the RNLI and Burry Port Lifeboat Station. They all deserve total respect and fair recognition. Two noteworthy votes in the Senedd this week: ❌️Plaid's interim budget, which they lost. ✅️Reform's motion to tackle bovine TB, which we won. Despite being in opposition, it's clear that we in Reform UK Wales can get things done and are a credible government-in-waiting.

Plaid Cymru are distracted chasing more powers instead of delivering with the powers they already have. Their latest push into non-devolved broadcasting has been met with a simple message from the UK Government: stop wasting time and money, and get on with the job.

Thank you to @WalesPolitics and @VaughanRoderick for the opportunity to share part of my story. Ten minutes was never enough. Growing up in communist Romania, my father quietly shaped my politics long before I entered public life. Despite the risks, he would sit me on his lap late into the night as we cautiously listened to Radio Free Europe, where Romanian dissident journalists broadcast the truth that the regime tried to suppress. Those evenings taught me that freedom is never guaranteed, that censorship rarely announces itself, and that democratic institutions must never be taken for granted. That experience has never left me. It is why I care so deeply about free speech, accountability and the courage to challenge those in power. There are aspects of modern Britain that raise uncomfortable echoes of a past I never imagined I would witness again. There is much more to my story, and in time, I shall tell it.

We’re less than a decade away from turning into a third world country. I will be damned if I’m going to see that happen.

Huge Reform victory as Plaid are forced to U-turn on plans to hire even more nurses from India, even though our homegrown nurses are struggling to find work. Plaid were staunchly in favour of hiring more nurses from abroad, and it’s only through Reform pressure that they have shelved this ridiculous practice.
