@Vet_X0 hey Vet, hope you can answer these questions please. 1. does the public key get exposed when giving read only access (to the r address) to accounting websites, for example? 2. does the public key get exposed when connecting wallet to xrptoolkit (no transactions made)?

Quick XRP acc quantum vulnerability check. ~300,000 accounts on XRP holding 2.4B XRP never transacted, thus public key unknown and quantum safe. while only 2 accounts with larger holdings of 21M XRP are dormant (inactive over 5 years) and have their public key exposed. Dormant vulnerable XRP whales are almost nonexistent. The rest is active and has their public key exposed but is also reasonable to expect to rotate keys if needed. This is very different to Bitcoin where larger holdings are expected to be dormant (Satoshi) and pub keys are exposed (p2pk). So while our quantum resistance strategy might be very similar to Bitcoin, we most likely will differ how we treat dormant whale accounts because we almost have none with 0.03% of supply being affected. Important - your XRP is safe, there are no known quantum computers able to threaten public blockchains. By that time the industry figured a path out.
