I work in health care. Let me tell you, a physio from a professional rugby club couldn't believe how Simons' injury was dealt with on Saturday. Actually laughed

The Xavi injury has floored me. Even if we do stay up, the whole thing is a clusterfuck. So many people should be losing their jobs

@panks_79 I've started to lose interest in the Premier League other than Spurs. Exactly as you've put it Craig. Its all cheating and game management, cheered on by the excrement of Sky Sports. Rubbish.

This Chelsea play-acting performance (it’s not just them) is a major reason why PL football is such a shit watch. Cheating. That’s all it is. Rugby is a far superior sport played by humans who are actually tough. I wouldn’t trust any of these flannels in a real fight.

Look what they gave us in that Forest game. Im not surprised. Collectively very weak as a group of players.

@bridagul Theres nothing there. Organised protests are swerved. Chants come to nothing. We must have the most passive fanbase in football.

@GarethSmith87 Surely this result will get the fans prepared to take action against the owners and board in the stadiums now AS WELL AS supporting the team. Or at least I hope

Nottingham Forest: 8 goals in 2 halves. #Spurs: 8 goals since 10th February 1-2 Newcastle loss That’s the difference. Sold Harry Kane and replaced him with absolutely nothing. Recruitment has been a complete shambles. #ENICOUT #VINAIOUT #LANGEOUT

@BBCMOTD You're wrong. People are sick to death of rage baiting youtubers and the guff that Sky Sports puts out. A simple revamp of the show, perhaps on a sleep Sunday tea time with a presenter who can "Fink" properly is all thats needed. Another institution gone to land fill

An incredible 52-year journey comes to an end. Following extensive consideration, BBC Sport has made the difficult decision to say goodbye to Football Focus at the end of this season. First broadcast in 1974, Football Focus is a testament to the brilliant team who have worked on it over the years and, of course, the audience. The programme has been a staple of the BBC’s football coverage for decades, providing fans with interviews, analysis and stories from across the game ahead of the weekend’s fixtures. But changing audience behaviours mean fans are now increasingly consuming football content in different ways and we need to respond appropriately as we face difficult decisions around how the licence fee is spent. Fans are accessing discussion, highlights, analysis and news through digital platforms and on-demand viewing and as viewing habits continue to evolve, it is right that BBC Sport adapts how it brings football coverage to the widest audiences across television, radio, online and to its extensive social platforms. BBC Sport boasts a strong football rights portfolio and is set to significantly expand its digital output this year growing content across BBC platforms, as well as a bold new slate of exclusive shows on YouTube. Featuring fresh formats, big personalities and more frequent, always-on content tailored for digital audiences, the expansion will bring fans closer to the game than ever before delivering more high-quality, accessible and engaging football coverage at scale. We will release further details on these plans in the coming months.
