Good Evening, @advocatemahere Thank you for your question and for engaging on matters of public interest. As Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, I wish to clarify that the Government of Zimbabwe remains committed to upholding the principles of transparency, equity, and non-partisanship in the administration of public education. Government schools are public institutions meant to serve all Zimbabwean children, regardless of political affiliation. As such, any support or donations to these institutions whether from individuals, organizations, or political entities must be channeled through the appropriate legal and administrative frameworks, including the School Development Committees (SDCs) and the Ministry itself. Regarding your concern about partisan donations, I acknowledge the importance of maintaining the integrity of our Education system. While public officials, including Cabinet Ministers, may support schools in their Constituencies, such support must never compromise the neutrality of our educational institutions. Any actions that blur this line are subject to public scrutiny and must be addressed within the bounds of our laws and ethical standards.I welcome continued dialogue on how we can strengthen accountability and ensure that our schools remain safe, inclusive, and politically neutral spaces for learning.
