Incredibly proud to have played my part in passing Callum’s law. @MorrisonBeth and Kate Sanger deserve huge credit in driving this forward and ensuring today could happen.

A tremendous achievement by @MorrisonBeth who worked so successfully with @djohnsonmsp to bring these new protections into law for disabled young people. I was privileged to work with Beth on Calum’s Law at @Enable_Tweets. Congratulations to all who made this possible.

The bill on the use of restraint and seclusion in schools is the result of over a decade on tenacious campaigning by Beth Morrison and others. It will bring guidance onto a statutory footing and give it the priority that it deserves.

A non political plea….. for all politicians ….. when you are describing “ public service” workers, and you go out of your way to widen the definition….. but again omit #SocialCare workers … you are leaving out a cohort that is almost the same size as our NHS workforce….
