Some birds from a warm & dry morning's walk - 13 Black-tailed godwits briefly on Cell 'A', a pair of Common terns (Silt pond), male Whitethroat (at the back of the Silt pond) & a pair of Shelduck just taking flight

Slavonian Grebe, Welton Waters. 15th April 2024. This summer plumaged bird showed well from the riverbank on the south side of the Watersports Lake but was tricky to video in extremely gusty winds and choppy water conditions on the lake.

The Glossy Ibis showed exceptionally well at Welton Waters, East Yorkshire, this morning.

This Rough-legged Buzzard showed very well at times as it hunted over some rough set-a-side fields in East Yorkshire and appeared to make several successful kills during the time it was watched.

Grey Phalarope showed well this morning at Hemingbrough, North Yorkshire.

Eastern Olivaceous Warbler at Long Nab, Scarborough today (27th September) with the bird showing very at times.

A second visit to see the Brown Booby, this time at South Gare, Redcar resulted in excellent views as it sat and preened on the Pilot's Pier at close range. (22nd September)

First Pink footed geese of autumn - 35 just dropped on to Humber at Brough

Not one of my better videos, but it is a Brown Booby sat on the sea on the Yorkshire coast off Hunmanby Gap this morning. It was a relief to connect with the bird today after dipping it at Flamborough Head yesterday. Also shown is a group of very happy Booby twitchers.

@MickgCunningham Bird is colour ringed but unable to read it, must be a good chance it is a returning bird.

Caspian Tern, Slaynes Lane North, Idle Washlands, Nottinghamshire 17/7/23. A trip over the border into Nottinghamshire to see this bird was rewarded with excellent views as it rested and preened. Just over a year since my last sighting of this species and at the very same site!

After setting off from the Car Park this morning with the intention of finding a Black Tern, I drew a blank on Village Lake, Main Lake, and Crosslands Lake but struck lucky with this beauty on Cell 2a @NorthCaveWet unfortunately always a bit distant at back of the lake.

Grey-headed Lapwing, Long Nanny, Northumberland. After initially only getting some very distant views, the landowner then very generously granted access to allow birders much better views and myself to obtain this video footage.

@BirdingDad @NorthCaveWet Flew north over the reserve at 9:45am before turning and heading north-west towards Wheldrake area assume same bird reported there later.

My best attempts of this morning's fly through Spoonbill (the second this year)

Black-throated Thrush, Wykeham Forest, North Yorkshire. 20th February 2023. Bird eventually showed well feeding in field by Wykeham Nurseries, after spending a lot of time resting in trees often out of view. @nybirdnews

@BoyWonderBirder @KaneBrides Flock of 10 Barnacle Geese seen at North Cave Wetlands, East Yorkshire today (4th Feb 23), Inc B99 with the other 2 neck collared birds being B67 and C08 all ringed at Scorton, North Yorkshire on 9/7/22.

Record shot of B99. One of 3 white collared Barnacle Geese in a group of 10 that arrived at Frampton today. Didn't get the combos of the other 2 though but would they all be from the same group @KaneBrides
