@DevinOlsenn You raise important issues but none of those issues are more important than saving lives. Human drivers kill and injure too many. But let’s get those issues fixed. They are important too.

I really hope FSD’s highway behaviour and navigation gets fixed soon. I was sitting in the passenger seat this morning while Jae used FSD. We drove 45 minutes downtown, almost the entire drive was on the highway. Watching her struggle with FSD’s decisions made me realize there’s a lot of work to be done before your “average” person can use it without any issues. Something as simple as using the HOV lane, FSD still cannot do. It randomly pops in and out with no real rhyme or reason. It will camp the fast lane while the slow lane is empty (causing two different people to flash their lights at us). Was the whole drive safe? Yeah for sure, and that’s great! But there was probably 10+ times that Jae had to intervene to get the car to do the “right” thing - including taking over so it didn’t miss our exit. I absolutely love FSD, I think it’s game changing technology. But when it struggles with “basic” driving I can see why any non-enthusiasts would quickly dismiss the technology. You can get mad at me for my opinion on this all, but I think it’s truth 🤷‍♂️

I was waiting for the stock to go down more so I could sell a csp. I’ll just enjoy the paper gains instead.

Y. I get that. Makes sense. Of course, one can close the 2028 CSP early. I do that. But what I haven't done is the math on which is more profitable. Selling the shorter dated CSP, or selling the longer dated and closing early? Of course, the longer dated also gives +valuable time

Elon Musk
Elon Musk@elonmusk·
Scam Altman and Greg Stockman stole a charity. Full stop. Greg got tens of billions of stock for himself and Scam got dozens of OpenAI side deals with a piece of the action for himself, Y Combinator style. After this lawsuit, Scam will also be awarded tens of billions in stock directly. The fundamental question is simply this: Do you want to set legal precedent in the United States that it is ok to loot a charity? If so, you undermine all charitable giving in the United States forever. I could have started OpenAI as a for-profit corporation. Instead, I started it, funded it, recruited critical talent and taught them everything I know about how to make a startup successful FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD. Then they stole the charity.
X Freeze@XFreeze

Interesting how it works Elon puts up his own money, rounds up the absolute best AI talent on the planet, leverages every connection he has to secure serious resources, and launches OpenAI in 2015 as a pure non-profit explicitly created to develop AI for the benefit of humanity, with zero profit motive and open research Then the “team” decides they want the bag They push Elon out, take control, and quietly flip the entire thing into a for-profit machine All while preaching the same sanctimonious lines on repeat: “We’re still mission-driven!” “AI for the good of humanity!” “We’d never abandon our principles!” The ultimate betrayal: Elon got zero equity. Not a single share. He funded it. He built the foundation. He got nothing while they turned his non-profit into their personal cash cow This is the level of betrayal and hypocrisy we’re dealing with And for the record.... this lawsuit doesn’t put a single penny in Elon’s pocket. Any win goes straight back to the non-profit to restore the exact mission he founded

My wife cheated 3 years ago. I stayed for the kids. Everyone praised me for being ‘strong’ and ‘forgiving.’ But here’s the truth is… I don’t love her anymore. Not even a little. I provide, I show up, I play my role as a husband and father… but emotionally, I checked out a long time ago. Recently, I met a woman who actually makes me feel alive again. She respects me, admires me, gives me peace. I haven’t crossed the line… but I’m close. After everything my wife did, do I even owe her loyalty anymore… or should I divorce her and marry the other? Coach you advise is of importance here. --From My Dm, please share your advice with him.

@BoBbyPleWniaK I have no idea what Tesla will do. I’m still almost all in. And bullish. But more importantly I’m grateful for so many things. I could hardly know where to start. It’s hard for me to think about the share price when I’m thinking about all I’m grateful for. Like the Ribeye I just

Tom is one of the greats. Passionate Insightful Consistent You see him and think: "I can do that. I can be a content creator like him." Maybe, but probably not. I couldn't do what he does, not nearly as well, not as passionate, and not as consistent. Don't quit your day job. youtube.com/watch?v=ag589I…

Do not quit your day job to become a content creator. It is very difficult and there are many risks. Only a few people will succeed. Let me tell you my story. I started making videos successfully in 2019. Mostly about Tesla and SpaceX and other tech topics. At my peak, I made $8500 in one month. I got into the Tesla space early and I was successful for a while. Eventually others flooded in. There are probably 10 times as many content creators in the Tesla space as there were when I started. The audience is not much bigger than it was. Stephen Mark Ryan is a great example. We have very similar views. He’s better than me at this and he works harder. I thought about copying what he was doing, but realized I needed to be myself. I’ve seen many content creators come and go in the Tesla space and related topics. Tesla Economist is a great example. He copied Steven. But he didn’t understand. He was chasing algorithms and he caught STEDs. There are so many ways that you can fail: Competition Demonetization Censorship Losing touch Burn out STEDs I didn’t have a day job to quit. I never tried very hard to make money or to grow my channel as much as others do. Tesla’s success made me financially independent. I create content about what I’m excited about. This is key to avoiding burnout. Chasing algorithms is a fool’s errand. If you’re looking for a way of being productive in today’s world, dig into AI and start building something meaningful. Let’s be careful out there.

Your name is a give-a-way! I loved Danish. I wasn't studying it because it had some broad usage in the world. Besides, nearly all Danes in the big cities speak English very well! But what a great experience that was for me to study some Danish.
