@hubiegallagher @fi_tomas_ Less distance in passing, much decreased in kicking out of hand and off the tee. Decreasing the length of kicking within the women’s game would be disastrous where the game is now. If the game was just about one-handed offloads, you could always play with a size 3…..

@GaryStreet9 @fi_tomas_ I too have coached, and played at a high level. And also have small hands but I have no doubt that the smaller ball makes it easier to handle for girls. What did your trials say about it?

@hubiegallagher @fi_tomas_ In a 30 year involvement in the female game, I have never seen it as an issue. My hands are smaller than the vast majority of players I have coached and played to a decent level. Imagine an aspiring player being picked for their country and playing with a different ball

@GaryStreet9 @fi_tomas_ Perhaps in terms of kicking - but do you not think it will passing and handling much easier? I’m genuinely interested! Certainly many female players would prefer a smaller ball!
