Why I think this: • Never coached/managed European football before • Never won anything • In every year but last he underperformed in the 2nd half of the season compared to the first - his teams burnt out • The point above is even more worrying when you factor in zero European experience & that he usually only played once per week. Liverpool play every 3-4 days on average • Season before last his players combined for a total of around 1100 days injured - again, playing once per week • He has never won more than 45% of his games in his entire career of managerial positions • He never faced anywhere near the level of low blocks we do, and found success in constantly being in transition at Bournemouth, rather than breaking down low blocks constantly. • His "18 game unbeaten run" consited of 11 draws, 8 of which were 0-0 or 1-1. We had a 13 game unbeaten run with a few draws and everyone wanted the coach shot So forgive me if I'm utterly uninspired by his appointment and think he will be gone before his first 2 year stint is completed. If he proves me wrong, great, i look like an idiot, but I've yet to see/read anything that would suggest that. #LFC
