@Cantonadevils There’s no history to learn. History told us LVG and Jose should have been superstars with that team. It didn’t happen. History told us we needed to back Ole in his 3rd season after going from 3rd to 2nd with the right midfielders and instead we went for the hype

@UtdMaI Both Amorim and Carrick struggle with him so maybe there’s something there?

🚨 IS UGARTE REALLY THE PROBLEM? Ugarte plays for Uruguay like he owns that midfield… wins everything, keeps it simple, holds the shape for 90 mins straight. Then you watch him at United and he’s in and out of the team like he hasn’t earned it? He’s literally the type of #6 we’ve been missing for years, someone who just sits, reads danger, and cleans everything up. But we still don’t give him a proper run of games. You can’t expect rhythm or consistency when you’re treating him like a rotation option. For Uruguay he always delivers… maybe the problem isn’t him.

What hurts most is that we lost when a win mattered the most. Sometimes I fail to understand why bad things happened to good people.

The most embarrassing tonight isn’t even us losing 2-0, it’s United fans who are City’s biggest local rivals celebrating as if they’ve won the Carabao Cup too, what a sad sad institution and mentally disturbed fans

@The_Franklin_st @Moon_AGD Ole valued Garner and even made him play against PSG to hold the score in the UCL. ETH was the dumb guy who wanted Dutch players and got nobody

@Moon_AGD Allow man... Get your facts right, Ole was responsible for Garner not ETH. ETH would have loved him if he met Garner at the club

@FPLfrasier Agreed wholeheartedly: we have parrots, not real people. The game should be enjoyed each on their own terms, not following what Pep does, or whoever does it.

@WelBeast @Arsenal The usual, you’re bottling. May happen again for the rest of the season

Nani juggled a bit during the 4:0 victory and Arsenal players took him down. Cherki does it today and they did it again. Either way, they’re losing. They should stop behaving like that and play to win, if they can. Or are they still bottlers?

This is honestly a mess. No manager walks into Spurs right now and suddenly fixes this. Whoever comes in would need a miracle. The squad is stretched thin, injuries everywhere, and trying to navigate through that is incredibly difficult. Igor Tundor never really stood a chance. Sacking Thomas Frank already destabilized things. He wasn’t outstanding, but he was keeping the situation from completely falling apart. That decision made everything worse. Tundor’s sacking isn’t surprising, but it doesn’t solve the real problem. It’s just another reaction, not a solution. At this point, Spurs are in serious danger. Relegation is no longer unthinkable it’s a real possibility. Miracles do happen in football… but this? This feels close to impossible.

Exclusive 💣 The decision was made after the third Forest goal in today's Spurs game: Igor Tudor would be sacked tonight The directors' area was stunned and one official was heard saying “This can’t carry on. We can’t go down. It will be a disaster” Club statement imminent

@NoushardMUFC It’s not FIFA… you assume all those players can do that. I don’t think they do, let’s trust what they see and feel in training

Even Amorim benched Šeško at times. So this idea that you can’t start him because you lose pressing? Not true. The solution is simple. Start Cunha as the 9. He gives you the work rate, the pressing, the movement. Mbeumo shifts back to the role on the left—where he’s actually more effective than the middle. Amad holds the right. Balance. Structure. Same starting players, different roles.
SportsDeeva@Blesing_Andrew

🔴"Dear Michael Carrick,As a loyal United fan, I have to say it: Bryan Mbeumo is a shadow of the player who lit up early under you. No goals in his last 5+ games, poor touches, missed chances: he's struggling badly up front. He's a natural right winger, thrives running at defenders, not leading the line. Drop him for a bit or shift him wide to his best position before the form dip hurts the team more. We need the old Mbeumo back. Please reconsider. Open letter from a concerned Red.

The disrespect Amorim gets because he tried to build a rotten united team is getting out of hand. He’s not a failed Middlesbrough manager like Carrick rather he was a champion before he join Man United. Ruben Amorim has won 7 major trophies as a manager, most notably leading Sporting CP to two Primeira Liga titles (2020/21, 2023/24) and three Taca da Liga titles. He also secured the 2019/20 Taca da Liga with Braga and a 2021 Supertaca with Sporting, establishing himself as one of Portugal's most successful young managers.

@Utdbeni Ole did some impressive stuff with that team in Norway. The problem for both Ole and Amorim is that those team kept winning even when they left: so how critical were they? Isn’t that the logic?

Think Bruno/Mainoo/Bruno G could be our best midfield but would think some game suit more Bruno/Tonali/Bruno G or Bruno/Mainoo/Tonali (if we can have lots of possession). Mount will play a big role to rotate Bruno if we get 60+ games. That only solves the midfield unfortunately

My personal preference would be to try to have Casemiro resign on lower wages 1y, have Bruno Guimares and Tonali, and try to rotate those in all games: Bruno/Mount Mainoo/Tonali and Casemiro/Bruno G See how that goes. I think to get new full backs too, but only get one winger

PGMOL referee Paul Tierney is trying to ruin the Aston Villa vs West Ham game. One English referee looks worse than the other — incompetent and full of bias and favouritism. It’s not a good look for the future of the best league in the world. Time for PGMOL to sort this out!
