This seems perfectly reasonable to me. Tournament operators need their product to be seen in order to generate revenue.
If co-streamers don't like it, they can pay for the broadcast rights that they currently make obscene money on for free.

@ESL turns out when co-streamers act like leeches and mute and hide the screen immediately after a map ends which means all the sponsor ads funding the event don't get shown, there are consequences.

At the end of the day costreams are a great way to provide alternate coverage for an event, and I spend a ton of time in them myself whilst also being a costreamer.
It can’t come at the cost of main broadcast however!

A reasonable set of requirements that should be largely shared across all esports.
League has issues with costreamers switching away from desk segments, skipping intro/outro segments & muting stream/cast audio in cases. Doing so undermines the main broadcast unsustainably.

I made a series of posts similar to this one designed to illustrate how astronomically absurd 10pb of data is.
It (somehow) transformed into a bunch of stinky nerds arguing about storage costs, architectural requirements, local storage vs. cloud storage, etc.

I'm trying to download this Chinese government super computer leak thingy. It's 10pb (10,000 Terabytes). However, my computer only has 10TB of storage. I went to Amazon and tried ordering some harddrives. The largest size available for bulk purchase was 12TB. They asked how many I needed, I said I needed about 834. My total price was $275,211.66 + tax and shipping. Then these jerks have the NERVE to say "OhhHh wE CanT MaiL yoU 834 12TB DrIveS" WHY IS AMAZON CENSORING ME? I THOUGHT THIS WAS AMERICA

I'm in favour of any event 3rd place decider but major. Idk playing for a 3rd place in the world championship, where it's all or nothing, feels kinda humiliating. I'd prefer them keep showmatches exclusively for majors, the rest can have 3rd place deciders (+they matter too)
