I’ve warned Europeans about this before, but if the US stops seeing Europe as a partner to help contain China, it will go looking for a different partner to support. Maybe a large country that borders China, with nukes and oil. The worst case for Europe isn’t merely a neutral US.

@Scottfu90305281 @LangmanVince I don't know where you got these numbers but they are utterly fake. The spending of NATO is between $4.1-6.1 billion dollars and the US with a way bigger land mass and way more inhabitants than Germany paid roughly the same amount of that last year, about 16%.

According to NATO's 2025 estimates (total defense spending ~$1.588T USD, current prices): US: 61.7% Germany: 5.8% UK: 5.7% France: 4.2% Italy: 3.1% Poland: 2.8% Canada: 2.8% Spain: 2.2% Türkiye: 2.1% Netherlands: 1.8% Remaining ~9.8% split among 22 others (each <1.5%). This is each nation's total military budget share, not the small common NATO fund (~$4.6B, US 16%).

Und selbst wenn das deiner Meinung nach reicht, mit minimalster Planung, auf gut deutsch Google Maps plus zwei Klicks bekommst Du mit dem E-Auto die gleiche Strecke kindgerechter und mit Lademöglichkeit hin.

Ein Nachbar. Junge Familie, zwei kleine Kinder, Niedrigenergiehaus, zwei E-Autos. Die nächste Familienkutsche wird: ein Verbrenner. Das E-Auto hat sich auf längeren Strecken mit Kindern als untauglich erwiesen.

@ElAkeem2 @TilmanFischer @DrLuetke Kindern aber auch nicht und alles über 130km/h ist eh ein rein deutsches Problem. Kinder wollen eh alle 2-3 Stunden eine Pause machen, also kann ich auch auf der Langstrecke in Ruhe laden. Würde ich jede Woche durch Deutschland fahren, wäre meine Meinung aber vermutlich anders.
