Folks of Twitter, I’m scanning second hand vehicles and I need to know what all exactly could go wrong in a deal like this. Especially where the seller guarantees vitals are in place and no accident history.

@CarnegieIndia @Rudra_81 @Rudra_81 thanks for everything. The network effect benefits of what you made possible at Carnegie are far too many (including myself). You know when an idea is imp and what to do with it. All the best for the future.

The 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘤 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦 (𝘐𝘐𝘗𝘗) at the 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘯 (𝘜𝘊𝘓) has published an excellent teaching case on DigiLocker to map out India's digitization program. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 | 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 Link: ucl.ac.uk/bartlett/publi… Authored by 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗘𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀, Associate Prof at UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP), and Ritul 𝗚𝗮𝘂𝗿, Policy Advocate at the Digital Impact Alliance, it delves into the platform's evolutionary journey... the rationale, tech architecture & design, the policy trade-offs involved, its role viz-a-viz other Govt DPI platforms. The authors spoke to all stakeholders - MeitY senior officials, DigiLocker team, iSPIRT, other DPI policy professionals working in the Indian GovTech sector. The case study presents a balanced view - it details the challenges and constraints in building a national digital platform for a country with 1.4 BN people, while critiquing certain aspects from a trust and accountability standpoint. Here's a few things that stand out in the case for me

Email has remained in an archaic era with the same structure Discovered a new email client that redesigns it, using AI silently in the background I've been using it daily for a month, cognitive load has dropped and I don't think I'll go back to Gmail Comment if you want access

@aye_kaash @Gov Oh yes absolutely, he is being foolish and unaware. Regardless, all these calls of gov should build play store, gmail like whatever, are nationalistic calls without much understanding.

@GaurRitul @Gov Correct. But if he was just referring to that (which is a complete no-brainer)- why’d he say “gmail like”. It seems he is suggesting it for citizens- and in that case it is truly idiotic.

IT IS rocket science, uncle- why do you think there are no meaningful competitors to gmail? If you weren't just virtue signalling, you'd know Zoho has email- & it's not too bad. If you're still insisting for mai-baap gmail service, you've no understanding of political economy.
sushant sareen@sushantsareen

What stops GOI from starting a gmail like email service in India? It isn't rocket science (which we are not bad at anyway). Most people communicate through gmail or yahoo or other mail programs which basically means foreigners know everything about our communications. Instead of constant virtue signaling and trying to show that you are taking to swadeshi, start a kick ass email swadeshi service which is secure and user friendly.
