This is the real India. Millions still rely on cycles to reach work every day… not by choice, but because they have no better option. Yet, India still doesn’t have proper footpaths or dedicated cycle lanes. In a country where lakhs walk or cycle daily, this isn’t a luxury…. it’s basic infrastructure. And near schools, it should be mandatory. Safe footpaths, zebra crossings, and cycle lanes are about children’s safety. We build highways at record speed, but ignore the roads our people actually use every day.
