Francisco Alvarez was removed from tonight's game in the top of the fourth inning. Jose Aular entered in his spot as a pinch hitter. On the Mets' lineup card this morning, Alvarez was scheduled to play all nine innings tonight. Alvarez struck out swinging in his first AB.
