BREAKING: American Bar Association votes to eliminate longstanding DEI rule for law schools.

“Currently, in Kansas, most offenders can attend school events, and they can be a chaperone at a field trip." A mom is speaking out after she says a registered sex offender chaperoned a field trip last week. #kakenews @AbbyWrayKAKE has the story: kake.com/home/goddard-m…

🚨 JUST IN: The unelected SENATE PARLIAMENTARIAN has STRUCK DOWN major provisions of the GOP's ICE-CBP reconciliation funding bill This is RIDICULOUS! The parliamentarian has been a HUGE roadblock, even playing games with the Big Beautiful Bill last year Thune should've removed her a LONG time ago. Now, Republicans have to go back and fix: - CBP sections - Border security, tech and screening funds - Some $2.5B relating to Homeland Security Appropriations And then wait for her "green light" so it can pass with 50+1 votes.

Mississippi already has 'dozens' of redrawn maps ready to eliminate Democrat Bennie Thompson's seat — and every single one gives all four congressional districts a Trump margin of 15 points or higher. But Gov. Tate Reeves just pulled the plug on a special session that would have put those maps into play before the 2026 midterms. State Auditor Shad White, the first statewide official to publicly call for drawing Thompson out, says the maps exist and the legal path cleared after the Supreme Court's Callais ruling. But Reeves is defending his decision.

This was how the Democrats drew Georgia's then 13 congressional districts when they controlled the Governor's office and General Assembly. I do not want to hear the word "gerrymandering" from anyone who wants to put them back in power.

The Louisiana State Senate has passed the new Redistricted Map Final Vote: 🟢 Yes: 27 🔴 No: 10 Current Map: 🔴 Republicans: 4 🔵 Democrats: 2 New Map: 🔴 Republicans: 5 (+1) 🔵 Democrats: 1 (-1)

@MsJaneDoeUKnow But Jane, the defense is in on it!!! They aren’t looking out for TR’s best interest.

Morris has proposed amendments. With the changes, this is what the districts would now look like. The statistics can be found here legis.la.gov/legis/ViewDocu… #lalege #lagov
