It’s absolutely ridiculous that in this great and beautiful country this isn’t what the average house looks like. It absolutely should be. The point isn’t that zoomers and millennials “grew up rich” the point is that they have no chance of ever achieving anything like this. My boomer grandparents were school teachers for 40 years, a modest middle class job. They owned a 9 bed 6 bath estate in my hometown that they ran as a bed and breakfast. By no means were they rich. That same house that they bought on school teachers salary in the 1900’s went up for sale for 1.2 million dollars last year. 9 bed 6 bath houses in rural new hampshire should and could be the standard! But instead we get 1600 dollar rent, infinite government spending, over regulation, and infinite immigrants. Actual Americans are being priced out of everything previous generations could afford by getting a 9-5. Which by the way is the reason candidates like Mamdani and Bernie are extremely popular. When nobody can afford to live because the system has failed people turn to alternatives like socialism simply because they see no other choice. As a republican party the cost of living should be the number one thing we address. The cost of living is not solved by higher taxes and more government spending but instead by mass deportations and running a balanced budget.

Big problem in our politics and culture is downwardly mobile zoomers and younger millennials who don’t realize they grew up rich.

3 years ago I invented this debt badge and began wearing it everyday in Congress to bring attention to our spending problem. This is serial #001. I made the case from copper roof flashing I had in my basement. Sadly it was $31 trillion then, but now it’s $39 trillion!
