2 kids knocked on my door Asked to power wash my driveway "How much?" I asked $20 Great deal Plus I love to support kids starting a business I told them yes "But I won't pay you just $20," I hinted They finished the work in about 30 minutes (they had no idea how to use the hose, but they tried their best) When they finished, they knocked on the door But I didn't answer After 20 minutes, they left (one of them began crying) Every young entrepreneur needs to learn how to credit the Allowance for Bad Debt account on their balance sheet Welcome to the business world, kids

R300,000 reward offered in hunt for advocate’s killers in Rustenburg Private investigation firm Tshenolo PI has announced a R300,000 reward for credible information that directly leads to the arrest, prosecution and conviction of the two individuals responsible for the murder of an advocate in Rustenburg. In a statement issued today, Tuesday, Tshenolo PI described the killing as a heinous attack on the rule of law and the administration of justice, stressing that such crimes cannot be allowed to go unpunished. The firm said accountability is essential and that justice must be served. Members of the public who may have information related to the case, no matter how insignificant it may seem are urged to come forward. Tshenolo PI has assured the public that all information will be treated with the strictest confidentiality. The firm also appealed for community cooperation, saying public assistance is vital in ensuring those responsible are brought before the courts to face the full consequences of the law. Images of the suspected perpetrators (below) have been circulated as part of efforts to advance the investigation. “Someone, somewhere, knows who they are,” the statement read, calling on South Africans to use the power of social media to help bring closure to the case.

SA REMOVED FROM HIGH RISK LIST South Africa has received a further boost this week after being taken off the European Union’s list of High-Risk Third Country Jurisdictions. The decision follows the country’s exit from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list in 2025, after authorities strengthened measures to fight money laundering and the financing of terrorism. National Treasury has previously explained that EU rules require banks and financial institutions to apply stricter checks to transactions involving countries labelled as high risk. These include more detailed documentation, ongoing monitoring and sign-off by senior management. Such measures increase the cost and complexity of doing business, slowing down payments, trade and investment flows. South Africa’s removal from the list therefore reduces these barriers, making cross-border transactions with the EU easier and more attractive for businesses and investors.
