Finally a graduate! Graduated yesterday with a BS-MS in Biology and a minor in Science Education. @IiserMohali has been such an incredible journey! I'm grateful to my family, friends and @NGPrasadevo for being the best mentor anyone could ask for. Onward to better things!!

We also find that darker wings are more common in cooler regions, suggesting a role in thermoregulation in addition to predator warning. A big thanks to @simonhmartin for being an amazing PI and giving me this opportunity to work on such cool stuff!

Broad clines imply a balance between extensive dispersal and predation. Some clines are >1000 km wide, crossing borders, and could never have been studied without citizen science. In places the clines are narrow and reach a limit of what can be studied with the data resolution.

Our paper has just been accepted in the journal Evolution. Congratulations to Komal who led the study and the other coauthors @manas_ga, Neetika and @Abhi_Evo! The study explores the evolution of plasticity in reproductive behaviour in male D. melanogaster.
