@chronofloss I mean you guys didn’t implement matchmaking at all which turned a lot of people off and are now shocked the player base dropped off and are now essentially dropping the mode. Pretty standard stuff for Blizzard these days.

Want to take a moment to give a heartfelt thanks to everyone who has played and given feedback on Stadium over the last year. I haven't been working directly on it for awhile now, but it will always amaze me that this wacky little idea I pitched turned into what it did.

So after introducing Stadium they're just gonna drop it like that? I understand wanting to use these resources on other modes but Stadium can continue to get better if they really try and it sucks we get no more new heroes or maps...this will imo just kill the mode 🥹💔

Stadium Development Update in #Overwatch 🏟️ The mode will no longer be expanded with new heroes or maps after each settling at around 3% of daily players in both Ranked and Unranked. The developers will instead support future plans.
