After careful consideration and extensive internal review, I would like to officially announce my retirement as a ManCity fan. My journey with City began 10 years ago out of deep admiration for the tactical genius of Pep, a man who revolutionized English football. Unfortunately, with his imminent departure, the emotional and spiritual foundation of my support has been fundamentally shaken.
I will now be returning full time to my roots as a proud FC Barcelona fan where my loyalty remains unquestioned.
In the meantime, I will be closely monitoring Pep’s next move and reserve the right to support the next club he signs for.
I ask for privacy this transition period as I reassess my footballing royalty.
Thank you for the memories @ManCity 🩵

The example in the natural Pastor sir. The diligence, the doggedness, the never-say-die attitude.
And with the excellence. You are the actor, the lawyer, the investor, the farmer, the miner, the businessman, entrepreneur, Multifaceted, the president of GCIOBA 89 set, the filmmaker, and the Ososa prince: And you do well in all.

I Declined the Ibadan “Opposition Summit” Nigerians Deserve a Genuine Alternative, Not Recycled Failure
I was invited to attend the so-called “Opposition Summit” in Ibadan, but I declined.
There is no need to pretend that the same men (and a few women) who held Nigeria to ransom for years, presiding over stagnation, corruption, and systemic decay, can suddenly reinvent themselves as champions of progress or defenders of the people.
Not all Nigerians are suffering from amnesia.
For the avoidance of doubt, our revolutionary party, the African Action Congress (@aacparty ), will not be part of any charade designed to recycle failed political actors under the guise of “opposition.”
Instead, we are committed to presenting a formidable, people-driven alternative, one rooted in integrity, accountability, and genuine transformation.
We will mobilize Nigerians across the country to rally behind a credible vision that rejects the decadence and deception represented by both the @OfficialAPCNg and their opportunistic counterparts in ADC, PDP, Labour Party and elsewhere
Nigeria does not need a rearrangement of the same broken pieces, it needs a complete break from the past.

Wait… all these tears because of Peter Obi? 😂
Now let me give you something real to cry about.
I don’t believe Peter Obi (ADC) can govern this country and deliver the kind of transformation we actually want.
Beyond the alliances with the same recycled wicked political class, I still have his post notifications on from my 2023 fangirl phase and I’ve taken time to read his positions on core economic issues.
It’s disappointing 💔💔.
Look at his comments on Sani Abacha, the tax bill, and several key policy matters, some of which were quietly deleted. You read them and just think, “nah… this is underwhelming.” 💔
Then there’s the part where we all pretend not to notice his wingmen; Dino Melaye, Nasir El-Rufai, even Atiku Abubakar all orbiting the same movement. Or are we to believe they’ve suddenly become saints cause they now associate with him?
At some point, we have to admit we are just repackaging the same old corrupt system that brought us into this mess we are, with a cleaner brand name.
And please, we’re past the optics of eating with school children, carrying bags at the airport… that humility theatre. It’s governance we need, not aesthetics.
Yes, Bola Tinubu must go. No debate there.❌ Quite frankly, he should never even have happened in the first place‼️
But I wish we didn’t have to repeat the anybody but Jonathan(PDP) situation that made us fall into Buhari’s (APC) laps.
I wish we had a real opposition; one rooted in competence, conviction, and the courage to stand against entrenched corruption, not coexist with it.
Maybe the 2023 version of Peter Obi felt like that person.
But 2027? I’m not convinced.
Having doubts about the opposition doesn’t equate being an APC supporter‼️
But if you insist that this stance puts corn in my pocket, then I’ll gladly eat it with beans 🌽😌
Now cry moreeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

How do you deal with really bad days at work? You know, those days when everything seems to be against you.
Personally, in my analyst days, I had different ways of reacting but one still stands out: I would buy something really expensive that I wouldn’t ordinarily buy if my emotions were in check.
One time in London, I had a really bad day. I clocked out early, took the train from St. Paul’s to Oxford Street and bought a then very expensive pair of handcrafted brogues made by Samuel Windsor. After I paid and it dawned on me how much I had just spent on a pair of shoes, my rush of blood reduced, greatly 😅

The only problem I have is when people with certain privileges encourage others not to attain those privileges for themselves
"Don't travel, there's no place like home" - From a person with second passport who studied, worked & lived abroad & has foreign investments
"Education doesn't matter, the world moved beyond that a long time ago" - From someone with multiple Ivy League degrees who's also preparing their children for international study

Rant 1/n:
I got my dream summer internship at the National University of Singapore this March. I'd only been learning programming language implementation for 2 months, but my advisor was impressed. A paid opportunity at a T20 uni, I didn't want to embarrass myself so I locked in.

Tried to write something deep. Ate a snack instead. Still, one word kept coming back: GRATITUDE.
To the giants I stood on, the friends I leaned on, and the degrees I now hold. Thank you.
Class of 2025, as I said: The world wants us to be typical. Don’t let it happen.
