Isaac Fayose may not know that in 1998 when the transition began, SDP was not part of the new parties registered. Three parties were formed. AD, PDP and APP. Contrary to his poor knowledge of history, Tinubu joined them to form the party. He did not join them later. He flown the AD gubernatorial flag in Lagos. The movement from AD to AC to ACN and to APC is not about running away. It is all about restructuring. Was there AC before AD? was there ACN before AC? Was there APC before ACN? We urge the political class, to note that the reason Switzerland has been stable, peaceful, and prosperous for the last 211 years is because that Alpine nation wisely introduced power sharing amongst its multiethnic population and has not seen any conflict since 1815, and particularly since 1848 when its power-sharing policy took root.
