Britain is sucking the life out of me, and I know I’m not the only one.
We’ve got a Prime Minister with the charisma of a wet sock. I’d rather have my teeth drilled without anaesthetic than listen to that voice for thirty seconds.
He’s the only politician I’ve ever had to mute on here, and I’d keep him muted even if he announced tomorrow that he was wiring me a billion pounds on the sole condition that I listen to him say make the announcement.
This country has gifted the world an evolutionary accident. The man looks like evolution started turning bacteria into a human being, got bored halfway through, shrugged, and said “good enough".
Meet the Toolmaker’s Son, now running Great Britain.
The fact that this is the bloke in charge is genuinely one of the saddest stories in modern political history. I’d happily shit in my hands and clap like a circus seal if it meant bringing back literally any of his predecessors.
Enough, I beg you, enough.

@NewZimbabweCom Measures..ah ha... And what might they be? Could it be the cancellation of elections to extend his tenure?

Completely agree with every word. I don’t want to hear anymore thoughts and prayers from Keir Starmer, I want to hear that he is proscribing the IRGC and the Muslim Brotherhood!

Some salads feel like an obligation. Others feel like a craving. A proper Caprese sits firmly in the second category for me. It is one of my all-time favourites, simple, fresh, and proof that a handful of good ingredients don’t need fussing over to be absolutely delicious!!
Juicy tomatoes. Creamy mozzarella. Fresh basil. A glug of good olive oil and a drizzle of balsamic if that’s your thing (which it definitely is mine!). That’s it. No overthinking, no rules, no measuring spoons. Just layering flavours and letting them do their thing. It’s the kind of salad that is a little bit fancy, but takes about three minutes to throw together, which, in my opinion, is the best kind of food prep, especially for moms!
I also have a big love for salsa-style salads. Chopped tomatoes, onion, herbs, maybe cucumber, bell peppers, a little chilli and perhaps even avo if it’s behaving. Scoop, pile, and eat with everything. They are bright, punchy, and somehow taste even better after sitting for a few minutes while the flavours “stew” a little bit.
My mom used to swap lettuce for finely sliced cabbage in a traditional green salad. Not going to lie, when I first looked at it (as a teen) I was like “noooo mom, what have you done and whyyyy?!” lol, BUT admittedly, it grew on me relatively fast. The crunch and freshness! And best of all, it doesn’t collapse into a soggy mess after ten minutes. I still do it sometimes, especially when I want something that holds up next to a braai or gets packed for later.
Salads don’t need to be complicated to be interesting. Sometimes it’s just one small tweak, like cabbage instead of lettuce, a handful of herbs, a splash of vinegar, a crumble of cheese and suddenly the whole thing feels new again.
So now I’m curious…
What’s your favourite salad?
Do you keep it simple like a Caprese?
Are you a salsa-salad person?
Do you have a secret ingredient or little twist that makes yours special?
Lets hear it… or better yet, see your creations!!!

@GblokeM @CarmarthenUIB @SWalesEastUIB @AndrewRTDavies Only reason it's posted is that under #PlaidCymru and their plans to take #Wales out of the #UnitedKingdom this would all be in peril - Plaid want to drag Wales out of the #UnitedKingdom

So you mean to tell me, an airplane can go right through the World Trade Center that had steel structure beams of 4 inch plate every 40” using 12 different grades of steel with a yield strength of 100,000 psi but if the same plane were to run into a firetruck on a runway the plane is completely destroyed.
Got it!

Brexit cost this country £180 billion a year in lost economic output, enough to build 140 new hospitals every single year. The people who did it are now asking for your vote again.
