July 21, 1984: I did long-form story and very long pod on Wahoo McDaniel's 1984 heel turn. In a down year, this was a great storyline. And one of the reasons why was that Wahoo had justification (at least in his mind) for everything that had occurred. As was the case in two disputed title matches. One against Ricky Steamboat that caused the United States Title to be held up. And the other against World Champion Ric Flair. Both involved Tully Blanchard's interference, but Wahoo places the blame on the champions.

You may see a listing that says they defeated Angelo Mosca Jr, Tom Shaft & Rufus R Jones for the title. They did not. The teams wrestled on today's edition of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling. And, while I'm correcting things, just remember that many of the WWE Network listings for MACW are a week off. For example, this show is listed as July 28. It is not.
