Remember there has been a MASSIVE investment in asia for manufacturing while the extraction of African resources persists. Trust im FBA i criticize Africans all day but this is a huge distinction between Africa and Asia. African "leaders" continue to sign sell out deals like Ghana meanwhile Asian leaders sign deals to manufacture products.

For Africans who blame colonialism for all these problems we have, Asia was also colonized too. But where are they today, and where are we? Colonialism is not the problem in Africa.

Asia wasn’t “less colonized” than Africa. The difference is how colonialism was structured. In much of Africa, colonial rule was built around extraction: steal labor, minerals, and land, and leave weak institutions behind. Borders were drawn with zero regard for nations or stability. In parts of Asia, colonialism was also brutal, but some regions inherited stronger state systems, larger industrial bases, higher population density, and earlier centralized institutions that could be rebuilt after independence. Several Asian countries also received Cold War investment because the West wanted them as anti-communist showcases. So no, Africa isn’t “behind” because Africans are worse. It’s because colonialism didn’t damage every region in the exact same way—and Africa was carved up for maximum extraction, not development.

@PaulTassi you could have gotten an inktank system, way much cheaper to just refill the ink. also, printer as in printing, for 2D yes - stagnant, now, we have 3D printers. but for commercial printers, some can staple the paper, rotate it and print both sides...

After WW2, US made up nearly 50% of thw world's manufacturing output. China just topped that. Let that sink in. If US thinks fight against China will be a replay of Pacific War, then US today would be Imperial Japan in 1941, China would the US at the end of WW2.
