It’s a toughie Ewan. My parents had interest rates of 20%. Only one wage. They didn’t holiday abroad. Drove 1 car. Young people today are in Education well into their 20s, then many go travelling for a few years. They go on multiple holidays, have cars, spend money like it’s going out of style, clothes, cosmetics, phones. Young people today have far more to spend on. Different times, unfair to compare.

The more I meet the boomer generation, the more I get angry. They got everything handed to them relatively. No mortgages, now big pensions, easy lives, and they look down on anyone younger and say work harde,r with no interest in even comprehending the reality they created.
