@jesstud The best things: local context at the centre,not an afterthought; focus on discovering local needs, assets; noticing interrelationships. Flaw: not recognising how long reorientation of a whole system takes (>political cycle) + skills needed to design based on discovery.

Adverse community events is a really helpful concept. Levels of violence, health inequalities (and relatedly bereavement), stigma and prejudice, poverty - these are all factors affecting individual outcomes.

Internships longer than 4 weeks that don't pay the National Minimum Wage should be banned.
Internships are becoming increasingly important for graduates in the labour market.
