Since I'm off Instagram, let's bring some insta-quality photos over to this app.
Today's final with the crew at the @joinhexa x @OpenAI house in SF.

Meet @pibou_dev, the first of our 11 founders currently at the Hexa hacker house in SF.
Pierre just completed his PhD at MIT, where he worked on the future of work, and is now building in stealth in that space.
Follow us for the reveal of the 10 other founders.

Personal update: I'm taking a leave of absence from YC to join Anthropic. I'll be working with @NotTomBrown on the compute team.
Powerful AI has the potential to improve the life of every human on earth and, as we enter the early stages of recursive self-improvement, availability of compute becomes one of the most important issues to solve.
I'm excited to get started 🚀

Happy to announce that I’m building this month at the @joinhexa x @OpenAI hacker-house in #sanfrancisco!
Time for a reintroduction:
> aka apparently I'm an SF veteran now (because I moved here in 2022, before the hype)
> scaled @gorgiasio' AI Agent product from 0 to ~1k customers (and worked with tremendously smart people!)
> before that, I was at @McKinsey advising senior executives at Fortune 500 companies
> lived in 6 countries and picked up many languages along the way
> taught myself to code before the LLMs, launched multiple products, I'm scrappy
> love hiking, biking and yoga
> got my #EB1A green card this year 🇺🇸
> recently made the leap and decided to build my own company :) more on that soon
Stay tuned for more updates!!

@snoelso built a patch that lets us ask Claude anything, entirely bypassing the prompt classifier.
First test: Claude built an XSS crawler, no safety problem whatsoever.
@ClaudeDevs, want to chat?

👇 Why you should be building with other founders
This afternoon we were preparing a cold call session. We coach each other and improve our pitch. Doing it together feels like a fun game, not like a task you have to do. We can see what works for each other and how each persona 'reacts' to the call.
Another experienced founder walks into the room and shares the script with which he was booking 10-15 demos a week. Damn. He got it from a sales performance firm that he was probably paying $2k per month. We get it for free, exactly when we were about to start our calls.
Do you think you experience this when you're building in your room? Hell no.
The environment is everything. Like the harness. Thanks @joinhexa!
Thanks partner in crime @ventiph!

Day 1 at the @joinhexa house in San Francisco. 🇺🇸
Hexa put a group of European founders together for the summer. They bring the house, network, and credits, and ask that we ship, share, and move fast.
I'm building Enoki, the defense system for your AI app.

The US is a country of opportunities for people ready to take them.
It rewards those who are hardworking, ambitious, and smart. European friends often tell me that intelligence doesn’t pay off much in Europe. In the US, it can really help you build your capital. You have the permission to be ambitious, have room to fail and start again, and a place where what you build matters more than where you come from.
In 4 years here, I:
> At least 15x’d my capital
> Got my Green Card for ‘Exceptional Abilities’
> Got promoted 4 times in 3.5 years
> Surrounded with people building at the edge of AI
> Started building my own company
And it feels like only the starting line.
I arrived with a very strong French accent and I was nervous to speak out loud in English. Now French people tell me my English is very good 😆 still a work in progress, but we’re getting there!
I’m grateful for the journey and the opportunities that came my way.
I love Europe, but I don’t think this would have been possible there by design. Systems and environments shape people differently and open up different opportunities.
Happy 250th, America!
PS: yes it was freezing yesterday and we didn’t see the fireworks because of @KarlTheFog_
