I used to be in the middle until the center right party moved to the left, the centre left went to the other side of the planet and normal became far right.

@DrCraigEmerson and you, an economist, do you support bringing in millions of third world low IQ 60-70% inbred non Christians? why? is it because you hold fealty to foreign entities? Australia is a Christian nation, verified by the 1901 Constitution's Preamble. Do you support treachery?

Taylor complaining Labor failed to build enough homes is the ultimate in hypocrisy They built around 350 in ten years and most of that time they didn’t even have a Housing Minister— unless it was secretly held by Morrison

I feel for the young people of today looking at buying a house. In my day, it was about 3x the average wage to purchase a home. In some places now, its 15x wages. Add to that, the government is leaving the future generations with a $1 trillion dollar debt that they'll have to pay off. It's time to wake up to ourselves as a country and get it back on track.

@ellymelly Labor were not going to restart the boats either it very quickly went from 5k a year to 5k a day arrivals. Im not suprised at all its what 2 party career politicians have done for decades, say what we want to hear, then do what the f*** they want when in power.

I can't believe Albo stood there at the election and promised a drop in migration. And then brings out almost a million more permanent residents. Where are they living Albo? In the houses that were meant for young Australians. That's where. And then Labor sends out these passive-aggressive messages to retirees telling them to 'downsize'. FU Albo. It's not the job of older Australians to give up their homes because your party tried to fudge the budget numbers with mass migration.

@CraigSarg73 It used to be a condition of passing the points system of immigration that you had to prove you would not be a burdon on Australian TAX payers, you were well funded, educated, qualified with experience and english speaking. Citizenship required passing an Austrslian values test.

So let’s get this straight. Australian citizens are apparently the only people who deserve support. Everyone else? According to Angus Taylor and Pauline Hanson, they’re just a burden. But here’s the reality. To become an Australian citizen, you must first be a permanent resident for years. For many migrants, becoming Australian also means giving up the citizenship of the country they were born in. Plenty choose not to do that because they want to keep their heritage and family ties. That is their right. Then you have people on skilled working visas and permanent residents raising families here. Their kids go to school with Australian kids. They work here. They pay taxes here. They contribute to the community every single day. Yet apparently Taylor thinks they should receive no assistance at all. Now let’s look at the numbers. Taylor claims non-citizens cost Australia $15 billion a year. What he doesn’t tell you is they contribute around $40 billion a year in taxes alone. That’s a net contribution of roughly $25 billion annually before you even count the businesses they build, the jobs they fill, the skills shortages they solve, and the communities they help support. So what exactly is the logic here? Punish one of the most economically valuable groups in the country to distract from decades of policy failures on housing, wages and infrastructure? This is what scapegoating looks like. Blame migrants. Blame permanent residents. Blame foreigners. Anything except the governments and policies that actually created the problems. And once again, they stand in front of Australians assuming nobody will check the facts.

You people have tried to game illegal immigration. Your responsible for 50% of the cost of a new build in government fees charges and taxes. And you try to make out that taking away incentives for the private sector to provide rental properties and keep rents down in an affordable range has made some sort of good difference.

The next three years there are going to be 1.7 million gross immigrants working holiday visas, student visas and other similar accommodation seeking visas issued by your government. Supply and demand dictates that's not a good thing for people with regards to housing prices and availability.

@ClareONeilMP Your taxes charges in fees are 50% of the cost of a new build. Your immigration policy it's a big strain on demand. Your budget changes just made rents higher and disincentivized rental property from the private sector. Your budget will make a difference in the wrong way.

The system just made rental properties less and rents much higher those subsidies were actually a subsidy ultimately for renters and the people saving for a deposit to buy home. The high cost of housing and accommodation being the main barrier when government is responsible for 50% of their new built cost.

Q: Please tell me how many right wing or left wing serious injuries or deaths have happened in Australia EVER! A: "0" ZERO! This is a tool to brand anyone, with a reason for ASIO to abbuct them with no legal recourse or means of reply. The bill for this scenario is literally going through Parliament now.

The cover up was real. The Government lied. People died. This week a career CIA Operations Officer just testified under oath: The COVID lab leak was a deliberate COVER-UP, and Dr. Fauci was in the middle of it. “I am a career CIA Operations officer… The Intelligence Community’s actions resulted in a cover-up.” - Intelligence leaders downplayed the lab leak on purpose. - Fauci intentionally rigged the process by stacking the deck with his conflicted buddies, the same “Proximal Origin” clowns who pushed the natural origin lie. - They knew it came from Wuhan. They hid it. - That lie was used to ram through emergency use mandates on experimental shots while crushing anyone who told the truth. Millions of lives destroyed. Trillions wasted. Small businesses gutted. Kids masked and isolated. All because the “experts” and the deep state didn’t want to admit they cooked this thing up and Fauci helped cover their rear end.

Keeping what your pysical labour makes isn't greedy, taking it is theft. You no doubt have more than the bong smoking bloke and Somali family down road did you give most of what you have to them. They are relatively worse off than you. (unless they run a NDS or child care business).
