We’re building Geldux on @base. Not just another perp interface. The goal is a trading terminal that gives onchain traders more context before they make decisions: • Heatmaps • Liquidation data • Whale activity • Trader intelligence • Portfolio insights • Mobile-first trading UX The feedback has been clear: Base traders need products that feel fast, practical, and genuinely useful. That’s the direction for Geldux.

The important part for us is keeping these layers separate. Geldux-native data should explain what is happening inside Geldux markets. Base Ecosystem context should help traders understand the broader environment. Both are useful, but they should never be mixed in a way that makes the data unclear.

Builder note #2 from Geldux: A trading terminal should not hide uncertainty. If data is fresh, show it. If data is stale, say it. If data is unavailable, do not fake it. That is the direction behind our latest Atlas work. Geldux now separates intelligence into two cleaner views: Geldux Intelligence Base Ecosystem Geldux Intelligence focuses on Geldux-native pressure: • OI • funding • liquidations • No-Trade Radar • position health Base Ecosystem focuses on backend-synced market context. Still testnet-stage, but the product principle is clear: No fake numbers. No noisy dashboards. More context before risk is taken. Trade with a map, not blind candles. @buildonbase

@Geldux Figured I can’t actually reach out to you sir… But, you told me sure… maybe you didn’t realize your DMs isn’t still open though. A follow back in the main time could actually serve, would have simple kept asking questions here, but that’s conducive any longer though.

Builder note #1 from Geldux: We recently fixed a subtle but important market intelligence issue. The problem: Global market intelligence could change depending on which wallet was connected. That should never happen. If ETH-PERP has a certain long/short split, tracked position count, protocol OI, or market skew, that global view should be the same for everyone. A connected wallet should add personal context, not change the market itself. What caused it? Our intelligence layer had two data sources: 1. indexed onchain events 2. live wallet positions from contract reads Indexed events are used for global market intelligence. Live wallet positions are useful because they show the connected user’s current position more accurately, even if the indexer has not caught up yet. The mistake was merging live wallet positions into the same event array used for global intelligence. That meant the connected wallet could affect numbers like: • long/short counts • tracked notional • average entry price • profitable position ratio • whale/position views So a connected desktop wallet could show different market intelligence than mobile or another wallet. That is not acceptable for a trading terminal. The fix: We separated global market data from wallet-specific data. Now: • global metrics come from indexed onchain events + market snapshots • connected wallet positions are computed separately • wallet data appears only as a personal overlay • global long/short stats stay wallet-neutral • same market = same market intelligence for every user • mark price updates recompute locally without unnecessary database refetches This matters because Geldux is not only trying to be a perp execution screen. We are building a market intelligence terminal. And intelligence is only useful if traders can trust that the data is consistent, explainable, and not silently changed by their own wallet state. Small bug. Big product principle: Global data should stay global. Personal data should stay personal. Trading context should be clear before risk is taken. That is the standard we are building toward with Geldux on Base.

Building Geldux Atlas Daily on Baseapp testnet. A lightweight read-only risk brief for Base perps. Not a full trading screen. Not another noisy dashboard. The idea is simple: Open it, scan the market, understand the current risk state, and decide whether the setup is even worth watching. Current testnet build includes: • Daily Risk Brief • No-Trade Radar summary • Market Risk Cards • Liquidation Snapshot • Position Health Mini • Base Perps Snapshot • Shareable Risk Card The full Geldux app remains the trading terminal. Atlas Daily is the read-only intelligence layer we’re shaping for quick checks, daily briefs, and shareable market context. Still early. Still testnet. But the direction is clear: Base traders should have a better map before they take risk. cc: @jessepollak

@solflare @base @solana Stablecoins being a norm is great. But distribution, UX, and real financial apps are what turn a norm into infrastructure. Base is focused on bringing that to mainstream onchain users.

@Geldux Don’t know though, not forcing things sir. But, I think I have a suggestion relating to this for a proper and more conducive pattern of such communication of members and holders with the team. Okay by you, if we continue this particular in DMs ? @Geldux sir ?

Thank you ser. The normalization layer now keeps global protocol intelligence separate from connected-wallet context. That matters for what we’re building next: cleaner OI heatmaps, whale tracking, risk maps, and trader intelligence on top of the terminal, without compromising the global market view.

@Geldux Interesting fix 😍. But, Out of curiosity, how deep does the normalization layer go now 🤔, is it just UI-level correction, or is the entire market intelligence pipeline rebuilt around a single global state? And most importantly commend your tek sir!

@Geldux So actually, traders eventually would be able to track real-time whale positioning shifts directly from the terminal too?👀🔥

Yeah, that separation unlocked a much cleaner direction for us. Global data will become the market map. Wallet data will become the trader’s personal risk lens. We’re keeping the next layer quiet for now, but this is the foundation for where Geldux intelligence is going: less noise, clearer risk context, and signals that matter before a trade is taken.

@Geldux Nice fix Now that the global market data stays truly global and independent of any wallet, has this opened up any cool new intelligence features or insights you're really excited to add next?

Good day to discover what people are actually shipping. Base feels strongest when products are practical: payments, prediction markets, trading tools, consumer apps, and better UX. That’s the lane we’re building Geldux for too, useful onchain markets, not just another interface.
