I swear the fastest way to learn anything in tech is to build some shit you’re not ready for. The panic will teach you more than any course ever will.

the pitch that kills AI deals lives in the vague "we'll automate everything" "AI will handle it" "you won't need as many people" business owners hear this and picture chaos what they imagine: → mass layoffs they have to announce → angry employees → broken systems nobody knows how to fix → becoming dependent on tech they don't understand fear lives in vague promises the pitch that close the deal live in the specific "tinky spends 4 hours a day on invoice matching" "this workflow does it in 11 minutes" "tinky now does the supplier negotiations you hired him for" "nobody gets fired. marcus gets promoted" same automation. completely different reaction. one triggers fear of the unknown one triggers excitement about what's possible spell out exactly who does what differently and the "what about my team" objection disappears Stop overcomplicating your pitch, it just leads to a confused and stressed client, that will never get onboard with ai.
