George Floyd was killed by a combination of american drug policy and police incompetence. He should have been narcanned, and he should not have felt the need to try to hide pressed pills in his mouth for fear of being charged with possession. He was also, by all accounts, an unrepentant scumbag POS. This doesn't mean emergency services shouldn't have narcanned him. They aren't judge dredd. But after seeing the bodycam footage that was suppressed until after the trial, and looking at the initial autopsy report that they fired the Hennepin county medical examiner for writing, the idea that Chauvin murdered him by kneeling on his neck is completely ridiculous
