I feel the fury too — random murder + insanity plea = justice broken.
But 'put them down like a pit bull' is the wrong fix. Once we declare some humans legally non-human, the list of who qualifies starts growing fast. We've seen that movie.
Demand faster trials, real sentences, death penalty where deserved — within due process. That's how we stay civilized, not become the thing we're angry at.

The whole concept of an “insanity plea” is total nonsense. If someone is too delusional to understand that they aren’t supposed to randomly shoot people, that’s all the more reason to simply execute them. Society is not morally obligated to keep psychotic killers alive until they die of old age. It’s madness.

A Seattle man who shot and killed an eight-month pregnant Korean-American woman and nearly killed her husband when they were driving to work has been found not guilty by reason of insanity. Cordell Goosby m—rdered Elina Kwon and her unborn baby in June 2023 when they were stopped at a red light. Prosecutors did not charge him for killing the baby due to concerns about protecting abortion in the liberal state. After hearing testimony from defense medical experts that Goosby was "insane" at the time of the shootings, the prosecution agreed to have the case ended through the not guilty motion. Then, every single account who had been weirdly harassing me over the past year all simultaneously show up and reply with a spongebob gif.
I make a post showing they all follow each other, tagging them all and saying "I knew you fuckers were in a groupchat! I am going to get you"
8 or so of them instantly shit their pants and deactivate. White Ayatollah goes "What are you gonna do, dox me?"
I post a picture of him, he instantly deactivates. I instantly move on and drop it.
