@davidhogg111 You are entitled to your own opinion, but not to your own constitutional interpretation. The Second Amendment protects the individual right for civilians to own the same modern firearms and ammunition that are ordinarily used by infantrymen in a theater of war.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The second amendment was never intended as an individual right and for the vast majority of our history it was not. It’s about the right of states to have what today would be the national guard.

@AdamKinzinger Every human goes off the rails at some time in their life, teachers too. Arming ANYONE is a bad idea. We've seen what cops do with a false sense of power. Imagine a underpaid frustrated teacher or a student big enough to take the gun away from a teacher.

I’ll just say the obvious here… arming teachers is a stupid idea.
